Dr. Sorensen considers her most important
professional contributions to be not only her work on
understanding the inner experience of those with low self-esteem, but also the incorporation of those
insights into the development of a highly effective recovery program for low
self-esteem.

Comments: Hi,
I heard you on the Frankie Boyer program a while back, and enjoyed hearing you. I?ve had low self-esteem my whole life, but I?ll fill out your questionaire, anyway, just to see how I do. Maybe, I?ll get up the courage to call you at some point. Was happy to hear you enjoy being with your cat. I love cats, too, and have four of them.
Sincerely,
Charlotte Travis

Comments: I?ve realized that I had a "confidence problem" when I got married and started working and interacting with people other than my family members, then I realized that my self-confidence is suffering.I was determined to get out of this problem before it affected my entire future ,and more important my precious son.I started surfing the net, reading, searching.I discovered the term "selfesteem"then
"low selfesteem"via the net,but through hours and long nights of research,no readings hit my core issue until I found the several first pages of your first book on the net.I was fascinated and I broke into tears.I?ll never forget that moment.I found out I wasn?t alone, somebody else out there feels what I feel. But,I was oceans away,so I decided the first thing I?ll do the moment I land as a new immigrant in canada with my lovely family,is to purchase your books and get rid of whatever?s causing my unexplained continueos sadness and bitterness. Now that I?ve read both book & workbook,I can?t thank you enough for your sincere work.I?ve started with the cards ¬ebook and I?m hoping in a year from now I?ll be able to email you and tell you I?ve overcomed my negativity, working on my social skills and uplifting my ten yr. old? selfesteem.I thank you again.

I am hoping you would allow me to use it for our research with regards to self-esteem and bosy image. I am hoping I would learn more about the test and hopefully you could send me a copy of the validity and reliability of the test. thank you very much.

Comments from a reader:
I have just finished reading Breaking the Chain of Low Self-Esteem. Two weeks ago my Rabbi told me that you cannot cure yourself until you know you are sick. I think you would call the same thing "awareness". Both the Rabbi and to a greater degree, your book, have not only made me aware, but I was on the path of rehabilitation before I had finished reading Chapter 1. I am 62 years old and have lived in the wilderness of low self esteem. Your book is the harbinger of change. Now I will read it again.
Thank you most sincerely,
David, Hollywood, Florida
